We have been working together with large development consulting companies since 2010, implementing isolated digital tools for specific programmes.
During this time, we have gained valuable insights into the diverse approaches consulting companies take towards digitalization and the challenges they face. In the process of reinventing digital tools, we recognized recurring problems.
Decision to Innovate
Rather than join the group of companies re-inventing the wheel with funding from different programs, we decided to develop our own integrated management system, using the design principles we knew would lead to a true Software as a Service system that could actually be used from one programme to another, benefiting everyone.

Our vision for SmartME was to bring all the benefits of a modern digital management system to our users with varying levels of digital expertise. It was clear that an integrated, versatile platform was needed to streamline tasks and improve efficiency in a variety of scenarios.
Gaining first-hand insights
Since 2016, we have conducted on-site visits to all locations where SmartME is utilized. These visits allow us to gain valuable, first-hand information on user preferences and challenges faced by on-the-ground teams.
Challenges Identified
- Experts spend a considerable amount of time resolving issues with Excel files and manually managing documents.
- Teams encounter issues with version control, data transfer, and tool interoperability.
- Tools are often used without proper consideration of data access permissions leading to inefficiencies and security concerns.
- Excessive time on administrative tasks prevents result-oriented work.

Our platform has been designed to adapt to a range of scenarios and complexities, while also offering flexibility to suit different users and teams with varying levels of digital expertise.
